If I shaved, will it screw me over?

It won't grow back darker. And it won't grow back thicker. The hair you have now has just been bleached over time. If you never shave ever your hair will be just as dark and thick (albeit long) if you started shaving today. Please shave. Sad attempts at facial hair are disgusting.
